Move in GOD, in governmental intercession

We wish the Lord's many blessings upon your ministry. Thank you for joining us on this exciting journey to make prayer a priority. We seek the Kingdom to see the light of Christ go from strength to strength throughout the world. According to the Word, it is appropriate that we pray for the government and people in position of authority.

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.” — 1 Timothy 2.1-2

“May he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans!" — Psalms 20.4

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” — Ephesians 6.12

Battles for political dominance are ongoing in each nation of the world. The powers of darkness seek to work undisturbed and strive to influence and infect as many people as possible, they aim to take control of governments and people in positions of authority, and the consequences are catastrophic for everyone! There are specific principalities and demons at work in politics and at the government level, in the legislature and judiciary.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” — Ephesians 6.12

“That he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.” — Ephesians 1.20-23

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” — Jesus Cristo in Mathew 28:18

Who should we pray for?

  • Politicians

  • Legal profession

  • Security Forces

  • Spiritual Leaders

  • Educational Leaders

  • Cultural leaders

  • Commercial leaders

  • Social leaders

  • People with media authority

  • Municipal and government officials: mayors, municipal secretaries, executive officials

How should we pray for them?

Pray for salvation, that they might be reconciled to God.

Pray specifically that the LORD would send people of Christ to them so that they could proclaim and witness about the Kingdom of GOD.

Precisely pray that corrupt and unsaved leaders would be condemned, and that they would seek God's forgiveness in repentance.

Declare that unjust and godless leaders make "mistakes" to the advantage of the Gospel. May oppressors and wicked leaders lose their positions of power through wrong advice.

Proclaim Psalm 55:9destroy, O Lord, divide their tongues; for I see violence and strife in the city.”

Pray that the LORD will confound the advice of bad counselors and give wisdom and discernment to the leader of each area or government.

Pray that the plans of those who are involved in unholy conspiracies, whether they be people in authority or anyone they seek to harm, will be exposed and broken, pray that their plans will not work out.

Pray and resist the influence of evil powers in people's lives. For the political leaders in countries where there is bloodshed, violence, chaos and anarchy, to repent, turn from this evil way, leave iniquity and seek the truth, peace and stability of the nation.

Pray for the governmental sphere, that they will be converted to a pure life, reject the corrupt structure established in the heart of man, reflected in the functioning of that environment, and that they will strive for sober and righteous habits.

Pray for their families, for their salvation and that they will positively influence the lives of others.

Pray for the person in carrying out his duties, that he will act justly, humanely, and with insight. That they receive awareness of the responsibility they have in their hands through their positions, which can be servant and transforming agents.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to pour out the love of GOD in the person's life.

Pray according to Micah 6:8—“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

Pray that leaders will understand that God has appointed them and that He has given them the authority to act responsibly and that they will understand that they will be accountable to God for everything they do.

Move in with God!

For your nation at the feet of Christ.
