Rooms of Hope

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains and ask: Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.”

Psalm 121.1-2

"For in hope we were saved. Now the hope that is seen is not hope; for what one sees, how will he hope? It is good to hope, and wait in silence for the salvation of the LORD. joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

Rom 8.24 / Lam 3.26 / Rom 15.13

What are Hope Rooms?

Environments and instruments to bring hope and encouragement, a connection between the prayer group of a local church with family members, friends and relatives of people affected by the disease, who are infected, intubated or hospitalized and who do not know the LORD.

Purpose:
Proclaim the Kingdom during this time of adversity, bringing the afflicted toHOPEso that the light of the LORD may shine in places of darkness and that there may be a mighty harvest of children at the FATHER's supply table.

How it works:
Through weekly meetings (2 hours) via the virtual platform, on days and times previously determined and agreed between the participants.

Formation of the Prayer Team

  • The team is formed by the Leadership of the Congregation, which will identify pastors or intercessors (mature and experienced) who want to take on at least one Room of Hope;

  • Teams must be composed of at least 2 (two) people;

  • Each team, made up of at least two people, will coordinate a Room of Hope and commit to the established day/time;

  • The teams will receive the data of those interested from the local church and will make initial contact with the family, informing the opening hours and which virtual platform they will use;

  • Teams should also report to the local leader or pastor about the weekly functioning of the room, sharing impressions and receiving guidance from this leader, etc.

Service in the Room of Hope

One Body, One Purpose, One Vision, One Kingdom,

The LORD on airregion, city, state and nation!

Step 1:The team must meet at least 30 (thirty) minutes before the service to pray together (suggested agenda at the end of the presentation) and agree on the strategy that will be used (sharing some biblical text, prophetic direction or other).

Step 2: On the day of the service, the team must send the virtual room link to the family up to 10 (ten) minutes before the agreed time.

Step 3: In the Room, the team should take the initiative of the conversation and the direction of the meeting, attentive to the moment when the family will expose its situation (fears, anxieties, etc.). If the family is unable to speak, pray for them as the Holy Spirit leads. Always have biblical texts in hand that can help at this time.

Step 4: After listening to the family, the team should pray with the person(s), encouraging them, giving the necessary support, expressing love, importance and attention to the family. Always seek the Holy Spirit's leading on what He wants to communicate, what He wants you to pray for, etc.

Step 5: At the end of the established time, make the necessary recommendations and dismiss the person or family.

Note 1:Make sure there is strict compliance with the established deadline.

Note 2:If the meeting takes longer than agreed, due to the person/family having other needs for intercession, this matter is under the responsibility of the local church leaders, who must be available in some way to serve, provide help and support for such.

Recommendations to teams

  • Do not get into political discussions or ideological issues;

  • Be patient with what you will hear;

  • Act in love;

  • Understand the government of GOD over the circumstances;

  • Avoid humanistic phrases such as: “Everything will be fine”, “God will heal” (except when there is a prophetic word judged and testified), “He/she will get out of this”, etc.

  • Avoid prescribing home remedies or solutions just in case, as well as interfering with the medical procedure they are following (if protocol or not). At most due care is not being observed (if the person is sick and has not sought medical help).

  • Avoid telling your story or cases you know (unless under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as part of a testimony that will generate faith and trust). Remember that the time there is for LISTEN and PRAY.

agenda for the team

personal regret

Suggestion: Begin by confessing individual sins, claiming the blood of Jesus to cleanse the mind, heart, emotions, so that the Lord's government can be established during this time.

declare: 1Jo 1:9 — If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us all our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Ps 51: 1-2 — Have mercy on me, O GOD, for Your sake; in Your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash me from all my guilt and cleanse me from my sin.

shields

Suggestion:Next, it is important to raise the LORD's shields so that interference does not occur and that the work is completed.

declare: Zc 2:5 — For I, saith the LORD, will be to her a wall of fire round about, and I will be in her midst for glory.

Ps 91:4—He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will take refuge; his truth will be your shield and buckler.

Wisdom and Revelation

Now cry out for wisdom and revelation in this time of gathering, subjecting every thought to the obedience of Christ.

declare:Eph. 1:17 — That the GOD of our LORD Jesus Christ, the FATHER of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the full knowledge of Him.

2 Cor 10:5 — Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of GOD, and bringing into captivity all thought to the obedience of Christ;

Declaring Jesus as LORD of life, as the One who has already taken upon Himself all infirmities and is help!

1Co 15:25-28—For He must reign until He has put all enemies under His feet. Now, the last enemy to be destroyed is death. For it reads: He subjected all things under His feet. But when he says: All things are available to him, it is clear that he is excepted who subjected all things to him. And when he subjected all things to him, then the Son himself will subject himself to him who subjected all things to him, that GOD may be all in all.

Is 53:5—But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastisement that brought us peace was upon him, and by his stripes we are healed.

For a Brazil surrendered at the feet of Christ.
