BRAZIL OF JOELHOS

Brazil on Knees is an apostolic mission – apostolic for announcing and extending the Kingdom of God –, received by the LORD in 1997, moving to serve the Brazilian Nation as a watchman(*), remaining in the Watchtower, in favor of the Brazilian Church, to work with her until the Lord's purpose for the redemption of Brazil is achieved.

* Atalaia is an elevated place from which it is possible to watch or observe; den or tower built to watch or observe. The name is also given to the person who performs the work of watchman; who works as a watchman or who has this function as a job; the sentry.

With the maturation of the mission, specifically in 2006, we began the work of mobilization, establishing a network of ministries for prayer, adoration and intercession, which remains until today, with the aim of expanding this network.

MISSION OF BRAZIL ON JOELHOS

The relationship is the fundamental basis for the success of this mission. We believe that it is through the relationship with the people of the Body of Christ, through the Church that we will achieve the LORD's plans. We relate to Church leaders, intercessors, leaders of Houses, Rooms and Prayer Towers, as well as the Body of Christ in general, seeking to serve the army of Christ, offering training, guidance, sharing the guidelines of guidelines and focuses of prayer, looking at the nation's economic, political landscape and the needs of the Church.

In the strategies that the LORD directs us to carry out – always established through advice and testimony – the ministries are activated to mobilize in their regions, first the intercessors, pastors, prophets, apostles, evangelists and teachers.

Our job is to ground, train, and enable intercessors and worshipers. Establish sentinels for the movement of prayer, worship and fasting for the redemption of Brazil, removing from the earth the ancient foundations and thrones of iniquity, through the sacrifice of Christ's death and resurrection. Bring healing to the places wounded by sin, redeeming the earth, reconciling man with the LORD, so that they may be children. Establish the foundations of Christ for the nation, to then produce a new history, a redemptive history, of reconciliation and restoration, proclaiming the establishment of the LORD's Kingdom, so that His purpose in His creation is achieved.

We assume the responsibility we received from the LORD: to be in the position of watchmen, to serve the Church as a prophetic voice for the nation, to be vigilant at the gates of the nation, to be on the tower watching the Church with exhortation, consolation and encouragement. The tower represents the base of an army, a place of refuge, supply, rest, equipping, receiving strategies.

We are willing to train and prepare leaders for the new decade, to assume their purposes – given by the LORD – to fulfill the role of a royal priesthood, of a holy nation, of being a people of the LORD's exclusive property. We are willing to train leaders in their territories, placing them at spiritual doors, to live these teachings and multiply the revelation of Jesus and His Kingdom, enabling men and women to serve in shifts (specific periods) of worship and prayer, with private agendas, living an organized life of prayer.

We are subject to the LORD and His directives, His Word, His Covenant, His promises; with fear of the LORD and respect for His Bride, we exhort, comfort and encourage.

Mission:

“Cooperate with Christ in favor of His kingdom through a movement of worship and intercession for Brazil, which mobilizes, motivates and encourages the Church throughout the nation.”

Vision:

“Seeing the Church of Christ mirroring itself in the Kingdom of God, so that it impacts the Brazilian nation, through worship and intercession throughout the Brazilian territory.”

DOCTRINES WE BELIEVE

The Brazil on Knees mission is made up of baptized believers, who voluntarily gather systematically and periodically at its headquarters, in Brasília/DF and/or branches, who seek to live a straight, honest, honorable, pure, holy, pious and Christian life , with an upright testimony, who accept and agree to the following Confession of Faith:

  1. The full and divine inspiration of the canonical Scriptures (the 66 books), their infallibility, their sole and final authority in matters of faith and practice (2Ti 3:16-17);

  2. The existence of one God, who subsists in three persons, with equal essence, power and glory - Father, Son and Holy Spirit (John 3:5-8 and Romans 8:11);

  3. The creation of man in the image and likeness of God, with an immortal spirit, the fall of all mankind in Adam, their consequent moral depravity and their need of regeneration (Rom 3:23);

  4. We believe that man after being born again, in his spirit, has to get rid of all spiritual, emotional and physical contamination and past covenants (Acts 19:18-19) so that the new covenant of blood made with Christ, and this is done by confessing our sins and praying for one another to be healed (Jas 5:16; Titus 2:14; Eph 4:22-24);

  5. Divine purpose to offer redemption to all mankind (1 Tim 2:5; Heb 7:27; 9:26)

  6. The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, the only Mediator between God and men, His eternal pre-existence, His incarnation, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His atoning and vicarious death; His bodily resurrection, ascension, and intercession for the saved (John 1:1-2; Rom. 1:4; Col. 2:9);

  7. Justification by grace alone through faith in Christ Jesus (Rom. 3:10, 24, 26, 28);

  8. The necessity of proclaiming the Gospel to all peoples (Mt 28:18-20); The indispensable work of the Holy Spirit for the regeneration, sanctification and empowerment of believers for effective witness with all their valid and present gifts to the Church today (1 Cor 12:28-30 and Eph 1:13-14);

  9. In the one universal and apostolic Church, which is the Body of Christ, of which He is the Head (Eph. 4:1-6);

  10. Anointing with oil for healing, ministerial consecration, as well as for breaking every spiritual yoke (James 5:14; Ex 28:41 and Is 10:27);

  11. Tithes and offerings as God's way of sustaining the Church and blessing the giver (Mal 3:10; 2Co 9:6-9);

  12. Ministry at all levels (apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic, pastoral and teaching) for both men and women, as long as God reveals that there is a spiritual constitution (1 Tim. 3:1-13);

  13. By weightsocial and visible second coming of the LORD Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the body at the rapture of the Church, at the installation of the millennium, the eternal blessedness of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost (1Th 4:17; Mt 24:21; Mk 13:19-23; Rev 20:2,4 and 6);

  14. Presentation of children consecrating them, by parental permission, to the Eternal God and including them in the church (Lk 2-22-23);

  15. We believe in the biblical word that calls us out of Babylon, so we observe and celebrate the main biblical feasts: Easter, Pentecost and Tabernacle (Ex 23.14-17; 34.18-23);

  16. We believe that the eternal covenant that God made with Abraham and that has Christ as its center, but that this does not dissolve (in fact it is the guarantee) that God's plan for the people and land of Israel will be fulfilled. There are not two peoples of God, but one Body in Christ, made up of Jews and Gentiles. However, the promises made to Israel in the Bible are still in effect, and will one day be fulfilled when the entire house of Israel is grafted into God's people again. The Church has not replaced Israel, nor is it the "new Israel". She was grafted into the faith by the king of Israel. So we have a call, not only to the Gentiles, but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel to preach the gospel and pray for their salvation, and look forward in faith to the day when all Israel will be saved. (Gen 12:1-20, 15:1-21, 17:1-27, Is 11:1-16, Jer 30-33, Eze 37:1-28, Zech 12:1-14:21, Rom 9 :1-11:36)

VALUES

  • The word:We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, the Truth, where we find purification, justification and glorification; they are the foundations of our life and faith; it is where we know the covenant that the LORD established with us through His Son; it is the foundation for our pilgrimage and direction for the fulfillment of our purpose;

  • The Lordship of Jesus:We believe that Jesus IS the Son of the One God, the Creator of everything and everyone; that He was born of a virgin, in Nazareth, the city of Israel, and offered Himself in sacrifice to the LORD, as a price for the redemption of humanity, died by death on the Cross, however, rose on the third day; resurrected, founded His disciples for another 40 days and was raised to Heaven, where He reigns and has the earth as a footstool for His feet; in Heaven He prepares a dwelling for His own, and waits for the wedding with His Bride, the Church; will return in Glory to establish His Kingdom from the New Jerusalem.

  • Redemption:Humanity has deviated from the original plan of the LORD, is born and lives in iniquity, establishes cultures that go against the values of the Kingdom, but in Christ, through His sacrifice and resurrection, we can find redemption, reconciliation with the One who created us and restoration of our identity, so that we can live the full life proposed by the LORD;

  • Purpose:By surrendering to the LORD's redemptive plan, and to the lordship of Christ, we receive justification every day, alignment with ABBA's original plan and design, both individually, as a family, collectively and as a society, and thus reach glorification in the LORD;

  • Relationship:The Church is the Bride of Christ, His Body, a living organism, and it is made up of individuals, who together form that Body where Jesus, the Messiah, IS the head of that organism — only with people, through relationships, will we be able to live the purpose of the Church;

  • Unit work: We are aware that the LORD has raised up many other ministries, and we join them by the same call of the LORD. We organize ourselves in alliances of intercession for the nation, in the different areas of influence, in the intercession in the areas of government and praying for the Brazilian Church, so that it experiences a revival and prepares for this season's harvest.

We understand that this is the role of Brasil de Kneels: to work intensively with the Church of Brazil; make her aware of her calling, her role, her value. Ground it in your identity as the Bride of Christ; strengthen the watchmen, sentinels, prophets and servants of the LORD, empower them for their purposes through prayer, intercession, worship and fasting until we see Brazil surrendered at the feet of Christ.

  • Advice:Having the humility to know that only the LORD holds the truth and the final word, that every Word needs to be analyzed and judged by a council of experienced brothers who fear the LORD; Have respect for brothers and authorities instituted by the LORD; and subjection to the directives given by the LORD;

  • Valuing the Individual and Unit:With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in the one hope of your calling; One LORD, one faith, one baptism; One God and FATHER of all, who is over all, and through all, and in you all. But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of the gift of the Messiah, Jesus (Eph. 4:2-7).

  • Improvement and Responsibility:We are like pilgrims on this earth, serving as ambassadors of the Kingdom of Adonai, on the way to Glory – we were called, and salvation was proposed to us when we were still considered enemies, we are sure that the LORD predestined us to be children, of which we were before lost, like sheep without a shepherd, and that He has called us, and that those who are called, likewise are justified every moment, then to be glorified. In relationship with the LORD, the Holy Spirit teaches us all things, and molds us to the example of the perfect man, Jesus, so we need to be open to the perfecting of the saints through the search and study of His Word.

    For a Brazil on its knees at Christ's feet!
